Small business / Outsourced IT
IT support for small business, without hiring an IT department.
Most small businesses do not need a full-time IT employee. They need someone who answers, keeps the computers patched, makes sure backups work and stops the obvious attacks. That is outsourced IT, and it is what Computer Plus has done for small offices since 2006.

What is different
Outsourced IT, explained
Outsourced IT means a provider runs your technology as a service: help desk, device care, security, backups and cloud apps, for a predictable per-user price. It costs far less than an employee, and you get a team with broader experience.
Our plans start with Essentials for the basics and add security and compliance work as your business needs it. Your staff get a help desk by portal, email and phone, and you get a monthly report that shows what was done.
What we run
The systems, and how we look after them
| Area | What we do |
|---|---|
| Help desk | Outsourced help desk for everyday problems, new hires and departures |
| Computers | Patching, endpoint protection and encryption for Windows and Mac |
| Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace setup, security and administration | |
| Backup | Tested backups of computers and cloud data |
| Network | Firewall and Wi-Fi management, including UniFi and Meraki |
| Planning | Hardware lifecycle and budget so replacements are not a surprise |
Recommended plan
Essentials or Secure Office
Small businesses usually start on Essentials, or Secure Office if they handle payments or sensitive customer data.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does small business IT support cost?
Plans are priced per user per month and quoted after a short assessment. See how pricing works.
Is outsourced IT cheaper than hiring?
For most offices under about 50 people, yes, and you get coverage when one person would be on vacation or out sick.
Can you support a team that is mostly remote?
Yes. Most of our work is remote already.
What if we only need help sometimes?
We focus on ongoing managed plans because prevention is what keeps small offices out of trouble. If occasional help is all you need, we will tell you honestly.
