Computer Plus has been in business since 2006. Founded and led by Andrew Trainum, it runs managed IT and security for offices of a handful to a few dozen people who need a dependable IT department without hiring one.

Our story
From hosting to managed security
Computer Plus started as a web hosting and IT services company. Its early catalog covered shared and reseller hosting, Windows hosting, VPS and dedicated servers, SSL certificates and control panels, with computer and remote support for the people using them.
As small offices moved email, files and logins into Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, attackers followed. Running servers for clients became running their whole IT environment, and then securing it: identity, patching, tested backups, and the documentation regulators expect. Most of that work is remote, which is how we serve offices well beyond any one city or country.
Business phone systems, structured cabling and multi-site voice are handled by our sister company, Texwan.

Your computers, servers and backup jobs are enrolled in Ares RMM, which provides continuous monitoring and alerting, patch status and the data behind your monthly report. Clients log in through the client portal.
Longevity
Relationships that last
Trusted by a medical practice for 15 years. Long relationships are the best evidence we have that the model works, and we would rather earn the next fifteen than advertise numbers we cannot back up.
